Favorite number 1 of the ATP tournament in Dubai, Novak Djokovic has successfully defended the title obtained in 2009, defeating Russian Mikhail Youzhny in the final, scoring 7-5, 5-7, 6-3, in a final played in two days. The tournament in Acapulco, Venus Williams was forced in the final female, while Juan Carlos Ferrero failed to obtain the third consecutive title, was defeated by compatriot David Ferrer.
